Please Donate on Giving Tuesday
Dear Friends,
We had another wonderful year: fifteen concerts in the last twelve months including: Quabbin Valley Pro Musica (winter and summer), Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, Richard Chase, Jung-yi Alice Hsieh Daugherty with Ilya Kazantsev, Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez, Magpie, Leah Kunkel, Tracy Grammer with Jim Henry, John Gorka, The Samirah Evans Project featuring Anand Nayak, Steven Schoenberg, Mad Agnes, Peter Blanchette, and The Deep River Ramblers. Music styles included: classical choral music, old-time, singer-songwriter, classical & contemporary flute & piano, roots rock, folk, folk-rock, jazz & blues, improvisational piano, contemporary folksong, archguitar, and American roots.
I love the variety; I’m very happy to have showcased all of these artists. The hall is wonderful; the music is both superb and quite varied. And I’m proud to have run the Meetinghouse for the last 10+ years. Now it is time for me to retire; we’ll be announcing my successor soon. But I won’t go away — I’ll still be coming to concerts when I can, and doing some special projects for the building. I love the Meetinghouse, and I’m sad to retire. I’m doing all I can to keep the Meetinghouse vibrant and successful, preparing for a good hand-off to my successor, getting everything in order, and my personal support is important to me too.
Please join me in supporting 1794 Meetinghouse this year. We can’t exist without your participation at concerts and in the chorus and your support.

Please give as much as you can to help us thrive and continue our dual missions of offering high quality arts programming at an affordable cost and maintaining and preserving the wonderful building. Your annual giving makes a huge difference; any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your participation and support, your concert attendance, love of the building, membership in Quabbin Valley Pro Music, interest in our history, volunteer work, and/or participation past and present on our Board. You are what keeps us alive and helps us thrive. And I hope to see you all at future events — the Meetinghouse community is a very special thing.
With gratitude,
Brad Foster, Executive Director

flash news: I am very happy to report that my successor, Matthew Duncan, has been hired, and I met him today for the first time. Matthew is great! I’m very happy to be handing things over to someone with his experience. We’ll tell you more about Matthew soon!
