1794 Meetinghouse

Just 25 minutes from Amherst, 40 minutes from Northampton and only 50 minutes from Brattleboro, Keene, or Worcester. The 1794 Meetinghouse is centrally located and close to everywhere! For $20 or less, you can hear artists you’d pay three to four times as much to hear elsewhere in the area. This popular acoustic hall is great for listeners and a favorite for performers.

From Greenfield/Boston

From Route 2, take exit 16 for Route 202 South and travel 5.1 miles. Turn left onto North Main Street at the the flashing light, the sign that reads “New Salem Center”, and with the New Salem General Store on the right. Continue 2-ish blocks, about 4/10 mile, with the road changing name to South Main Street. The Meetinghouse is on the right, on the New Salem Town Common; please park on the Common.

From Amherst

From Amherst Common, take Main Street to Pelham Road to the T-junction. Turn left onto 202. Travel North through Shutesbury and into New Salem until you reach a blinking yellow light. Turn right onto North Main Street at the the flashing light, the sign that reads “New Salem Center”, and with the New Salem General Store on the right.
