We are very sad to report that our June & July Summer Series has been canceled due to COVID-19, and the need for continued care and social distancing. We booked a wonderful line up of performances; it breaks our hearts not to bring them to our hall and to you, our audience. This is quite a blow to all of us.
We are hoping to re-book many of the 2020 performances for a resurgent season in 2021. We are also talking with some performers about the possibility of live-streaming a concert on or near their original dates; none of these arrangements have been finalized yet.
Needless to say, the loss of our programs is hitting us, our performers, and our business supporters and advertisers very hard. Please visit performer websites, buy their music, watch their online videos and listen to their own live-streamed concerts. We will provide links on our website and in email announcements. When you can, patronize our local businesses; we want and need to bounce back as quickly as possible once it is safe to do so.
And, for those that can, please support 1794 Meetinghouse. In the absence of summer events we’ve been hit hard financially; we need your help to return as quickly as possible with a strong and full season next year. In the absence of concerts, we hope to get some renovations started, but we need funding for that too. If you can help, in any way, your support will be greatly appreciated.
